Mike created Via Media Publishing in 1992 in order to publish the quarterly Journal of Asian Martial Arts which became recognized world-wide for its high academic and aesthetic standards.
Since 2012, after Mike ceased publishing the journal, Via Media has focused on producing anthologies and books. Authors include the well-known pioneers Robert W. Smith, Oscar Ratti and Adele Westbrook.
